It is always exciting to go to a priestly ordination. If you have not gone to one before, I highly encourage you to go! Mother Church desires that the Cathedral to be full as it can. It is a celebration that all are invited to! Furthermore, everyone is invited to the supper afterwards. I personally ran into people who went to an ordination but not go to the reception, because they felt that they were not invited. However, everyone is invited to the big reception after the ordination.  A priestly ordination is all about Jesus and not the Ordinant, it includes all of us who make up the Diocese of Duluth!! This means that many parishioners come from throughout the diocese including most all the priests and many of the deacons!
